Alexander Mitchum

Alex is a Mt. Pleasant native and lives on James Island with his wife, Liz, and their two sons William and Henry. He is a graduate of Wando High School and the College of Charleston.

He began his career with MetLife in 2013 and is life and health insured in North Carolina, South Carolina and Georgia. He is currently securities registered in South Carolina, holding a 6 and 63 license.

Alex is a passionate outdoorsman, and enjoys sport fishing, golf, and travel.  He is a member of the Palmetto Society, a local men's organization that focuses on philanthropy and comradery.

Alex brings an education background to his work, and strives to add clarity and simplicity to often complicated financial situations. Working with Charleston's business owners and their executives enables Alex to play a role in the success of the city and its residents, which he finds particularly meaningful, as Charleston and the surrounding community has a special place in his heart.
